JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for education, promotion and adoption of end user technologies across the enterprise. The end goal for this position is to maximize the value of our technology investments and productivity of our business partners.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field highly desirable

  • 3 years of experience leading technology education campaigns highly desirable

  • 1-2 years of experience in web content management with demonstrated proficiency

  • 1-2 years of experience in metric development with demonstrated proficiency

  • Proficiency in constructing clear PowerPoint presentations

  • Ability to lead people, teams, projects and initiatives in a technical organization

  • Ability to facilitate and manage data inputs and changes across multiple organizations

  • Ability to communicate ideas in both a technical and user-friendly language

  • Ability to establish and maintain peer and customer relationships across organizational lines

  • Ability to build consensus and achieve results through the effective use of persuasive communication and formal presentation skills

  • Ability to assess end-user technology products and construct meaningful and concise education material and instruction

  • Ability to simplify complex technical subjects in a way that can be easily understood by non-technical audiences

  • Maintains a customer-focused mindset and strives to exceed customer expectations

  • Solid written and verbal communications skills including public speaking ability

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for self and others

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Overview

  • Program Manager for Digital Workplace program with the overall goal being to promote Digital and Self-Service Adoption across the Enterprise

  • Responsible for New/Current Tool/Technology Adoption and associated End User Adoption with a focus on an “Always On” Business Model allowing staff to work anywhere, anytime

  • Facilitates promoting, informing and training of end user technology tools such as Enterprise Search, Jarvis, and Office 365 elements

  • Responsible for leading pilots, implementations and overseeing vendors related to Education tools (ex. Vitalyst, PluralSight)

  • Responsible for meeting with key business leaders to understand how technology is being used and where gaps may be related to tool adoption and improving the technology experience

  • Responsible for promoting self-service tools and services that are available, and providing feedback to owning teams related to gaps in self-service tools

  • Responsible for communications associated with Technology Services tool and service releases/updates/changes/projects to promote adoption. This includes TBP’s, Technology Experience Council, Enterprise Channel and Key Business Partner Communications.

  • Measures adoption and usage trends of desktop / mobile tools for tuning to increase end user effectiveness

  • Responsible for owning Technology Services communication strategy across platforms

Tactical Goals

  • Develop and deploy communication plans for projects across TS that impact End Users

  • Survey and Leverage Social Media for key tool usage information and leverage feedback to develop plan to encourage adoption (measure adoption)

  • Lead Technology Council and leverage feedback to plan communications to encourage adoption

  • Influencer Group Development

  • Develop Business influencer groups representing key business areas to meet with regularly, provide early release information, gain feedback and leverage for adoption measurement/message tuning

  • Leverage focus group/Influencers as the business technical reps to improve collaboration and act as change champions

  • This position is required to develop messaging, lead group, and leverage feedback to refine messaging for enterprise. This position is an enabler for adoption.

  • Meet with TBP’s monthly and ensure they have talking points for all TS projects

  • Inject key Technology Tool attainment and value prop information into all OpCo New Employee Orientation

  • Highlight and publish “Wins” to Influencer Group and on Enterprise Channel, as relevant

  • Measure successes and oversee promotional giveaway program to further encourage adoption

  • Own promotional give away budget

  • Design web content, online documentation and presentations to promote and support educational initiatives

  • Work with Application Owners to ensure apps are available for virtual use – promoting flexibility across platforms

  • Focus on Promoting the following over the first year (and beyond - some of the items overlap)

  • Mobility Tools

  • Jarvis Chatbot

  • Microsoft Hello

  • Cortana

  • Enterprise Search

  • Alternative Print Solutions
