HR Business Analyst/ServiceNow Administrator (HRSD)

The HR Business Analyst is responsible for implementation and ongoing support of ServiceNow’s HR Case and Knowledge Management solutions. The analyst is part of a team responsible for maintaining a quality environment, managing complex business processes and partnering with external vendors and Information Technology to enhance and deploy new capabilities. The HR Business Analyst will become an expert in HR business processes, applying industry best practices to product configurations, consulting with customers on system capabilities and how to best leverage existing systems, as well as translating HR business requirements into technology solutions. Additional responsibilities include second tier support for end users, reporting, change management for business processes and researching industry trends.
The HR Business Analyst should possess sound foundational knowledge of the Now platform and applications, a detailed understanding of the business requirements represented, and the ability to customize the ServiceNow platform system to satisfy business requirement and deliver business functionality. The individual will need to effectively operate in a fast past, changing environment by managing changing priorities, while being responsive, dependable, and discerning when supporting the HR business and coworkers. The individual must multi-task efficiently, manage projects, work independently with little supervision and keep assignments organized by planning their work and meeting project deadlines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education
- BS in Systems, IT or Human Resources strongly preferred
Experience
3 years ServiceNow experience, HR Service Desk experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of ServiceNow administration and upgrade activities. Experience working with ITSM and/or HR Service Delivery in ServiceNow
Proven analytical skills and experience in analyzing large data sets using various reporting tools
Proven written and verbal communication skills with experience creating and presenting information
Demonstrated consulting skills, initiative to influence change, and a proactive thinker
Demonstrated experience delivering significant projects on time and within budget as part of a team
Knowledge/Skills
Configuration and system administration experience
Understanding of database relationships and back-end query tools
Ability to think strategically and solve problems using innovative/creative thinking
Self-motivated and detail oriented, with proven skills in organization, time management and project management
Ability to handle multiple complex priorities simultaneously without sacrificing quality
Ability to understand HR business requirements and translate requirements into technology solutions
Customer service focused
Ability to establish relationships and influence decisions
Ability to handle a high pressure/high stress environment
Provide technical expertise for data governance and data integrity across all HR applications
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customizes forms, workflows, IU action, Business Rules, Service Portal, system imports, Business Analytics, reporting and Service Catalog
Partners with HR Delivery and Centers of Excellence to identify business needs.
Represents project stakeholders and customers throughout planning, development, release processes
Tests and coordinates UAT testing, training, and communications
Provide level 2 support for all products, applications, and processes on the ServiceNow platform
Executes project tasks against an established project schedule, and reviews ongoing project status with management.
Administer security to ensure data protection and privacy
Develops and maintains strong working knowledge of all ServiceNow capabilities. Stays up to date on release materials and provides business recommendations on enhancements to help improve business processes
Leverages user analytics to drive decisions on system change and discover training needs
