Project Manager
Work Location: Georgia Power Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta, GA
SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for:
Assisting with the Technology Organization’s best practice program – UNITE
UNITE is a consortium of IT leaders from electric and gas utilities across the US who share best practices and benchmark IT services.
This position will be filled as a Level 4 Project Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirements:
B.S. degree required (preferably Business or Technology related)
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience with SharePoint
Experience with conference planning for large meetings is required
General knowledge of the Office suite applications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences.
Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to successfully model and lead safe work behaviors in the workplace.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain strategic partnerships UNITE member representatives.
Support UNITE strategic plans and initiatives and communicate them to the members representatives.
Help ensure all UNITE deliverables are completed with high quality.
Demonstrate Southern Company Values.
Strong account management skills including managing multiple tasks/priorities, communication, teamwork, consulting, and financial analysis.
Proven analytical abilities and problem-solving skills; experience in business process and requirements analysis
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and critically, exhibit breadth in vision and creative thinking.
Ability to build, maintain, and influence relationships at all levels and within all organizations.
Demonstrate leadership and strong customer service skills.
General knowledge of both current and new technologies being used within IT departments
